February is Heart Health Month

Cardiovascular disease commonly referred to as heart disease, is the leading cause of death in America.  Each year 1 in 4 deaths are cause by heart disease.  

What are the symptoms of a Heart Attack?

Symptoms include, chest discomfort lasting more than a few minutes;  discomfort of the upper body including pain in one or both arms, the back, the neck, the jaw or stomach; shortness of breath; other signs include, breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea, or lightheadedness.

Awareness and continuous care with your doctor is vital to your success.

What should I do to avoid heart disease?

Early detection of your risk factors is key to the prevention of heart disease. Follow-up with your healthcare provider.
